G shared her dinner with Piishka tonight. It was sick! I captured it for posterity.
That girl. Imma have to start feeding her Milkbones along with the pup if this behavior continues.

i love me some "blood filled" voodoo doughnuts. the raspberry inside complements the chocolate icing oh so nicely. and the pretzel stick adds the perfect salty compliment as a pin for taking out my frustrations on the voodoo doll.

in digging through old stuff at G's parents house we found this logbook that her parents kept of a summer-long RV trip they took from Tennessee to Lake Louise, British Columbia. Her mom and dad recorded the mileage each day, the locations where they stayed, and noteworthy events. they took this trip when G was 16, in 1990 and G and her sister added hilarious commentary to the logbook in awesome angsty teenage form.
check the zooms:

"this was the worst damn trip of my life" (and that was only on the 2nd day!)

"and smelled very pungently of cowshit" ....
"Horrible Damn Ride -- hope you're enjoying making us miserable. Seemingly endless bum by boring gently rolling plains -- oh, mustint forged Ignacy almost propelled Chas [G's sister] through windshield" |

why i hate the catholic church
how christian! the knights of columbus see fit to donate 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS in support of prop 8 instead of using it to feed the hungry and shelter the poor (or some other, equally worthwhile, cause).
what a big waste of money. the whole thing makes me sick. |

holy shit, this was a great movie. i love bill maher and i loathe/pity the religious in the way only a person who has been completely intrenched in it could.
really. religion is the cause of many (most) of the bad things in the world, in my opionion. war, bigotry, hatred, terrorism, intolerance, selective ignorance (as is the case with creationists in the US). religion allows people not to think about their own existence.
my children will be named Hitchens, Dawkins, and Maher in that order. :) |
